Now, thanks a generous donation, we’re able to start a City Pulse journalism internship program for 2025. Motivated interns will enable us to extend our coverage, reporting more deeply and broadly in Greater Lansing with fresh voices!

We appreciate that you want to make a difference, too!  

Of course, there is still much work to be done to preserve our democracy and City Pulse will continue to be at the forefront of this journey in 2025, bringing you the breaking news and behind-the-scenes stories and perspectives. We'll also continue to offer up the best in local arts, culture, entertainment and culinary news, and all of the other things you look for from us!

Can I cancel anytime? 

Yes! If you make a monthly or annual donation, you can cancel at any time through our billing portal, or by contacting us.

Can I get my event/topic/issue covered if I’m a donor? 

You can ask or pitch us a story—just like anyone else can. We welcome story ideas and feedback from anyone in the community, regardless of whether they’ve supported us financially. However, under our editorial independence policy, no one (including our governing and advisory boards) can make decisions about our news coverage other than our journalists.

Is my donation tax-deductible? 

Donations made through this page are not tax-deductible. If you do itemize and want to make a tax-deductible contribution that benefits City Pulse, you may make it to the City Pulse Fund for Community Journalism. To find out more, please call Steve Underwood at 517-999-6704.
